January 2019 has already kicked a week off, but you can’t rule out the remaining 20+ days. And indeed these are days that bring more action packed games for the interest of the tabs.
A lot is up on the timeline for release, but we have selected the 8 you can’t miss out this holiday. Let’s take a look at them.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story
This January, you should not miss out on Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, the third game in the Mario & Luigi RPG series.

The game’s plot involves Mario and Luigi being inhaled into the body of their long-time nemesis, Bowser. The Mario brothers learn to assist Bowser, who is unaware of their presence, as he combats Fawful, who has taken control of the Mushroom Kingdom.
It will be released in North America on January 11, 2019, in Europe on January 25, 2019, and in Australia on January 26, 2019.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
This is one of the best selling Super Mario Bros. game on Wii U and it will be released by Nintendo Switch on January 11, 2019. This is a new version of the game where it includes New Super Luigi U DLC.
Here, the objective of each level is to reach the goal flag at the end of each level while avoiding enemies and hazards.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Tales of Vesperia is one of the most beloved entries in the ‘Tales of’ series and returns with beautifully remastered full HD graphics, never before seen characters, expanded story, and much more.

In it, the fates of two friends traveling separate paths intertwine in an epic adventure that threatens the existence of all. It will be released on January 11th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
Onimusha: Warlords
The game’s plot is set in the Sengoku period and focuses on the samurai Samanosuke Akechi who fights against the forces of Nobunaga Oda. After Nobunaga’s death in battle, Samanosuke goes on a quest to save Princess Yuki from demons working alongside Nobunaga’s forces. The player controls Samanosuke and his partner, a female ninja Kaede, in their fight against Demons.

The game will be released on January 15th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
YIIK: A postmodern RPG
This is a 3D Japanese-style RPG. It is set in the 1990s and is based around a mystery in a small town. There are eight characters who are message board friends. They work together to investigate the mystery around a viral video star called Sammy Pack, who goes missing in a supernatural event.

A demo was released in June 2016 on Microsoft Windows and MacOS; the game will also be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch.[ The game will be released on January 17, 2019.
Ace combat 7: Skies unknown
The game is set in 2019 during a conflict between the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea known as the Second Usean Continental War. The player, callsign “Trigger,” fights for the Osean Air Defense Force against Erusea’s unmanned drones. Trigger starts out as a member in Osea’s Mage Squadron before being accused of murdering a former president and being sent to Osea’s Spare Squadron, a penal military unit, for atonement.

It will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2019 and for Microsoft Windows the following month. The game also features virtual reality support.
Travis strikes again: No more heroes
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed and published by Grasshopper Manufacture for the Nintendo Switch, to be released on January 18, 2019.

As Travis, players are tasked with going through multiple video games and defeating the bugs in each game. The levels are inspired by various video game genres such as platforming games and role-playing games.
Resident Evil 2 remake
Resident Evil 2 is a remake of the original Resident Evil 2 released for PlayStation in 1998. Unlike the original, which uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features “over-the-shoulder” third-person shooter gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4.

It is scheduled for worldwide released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on January 25, 2019.
