At least you should have heard a word or two about CSquared, that provides local Internet service providers (ISPs) and mobile operators access to reliable and high-speed fiber infrastructure.
It is through them that Roke Telkom, Gilat Telecom, iWay Africa, and truIT are able to offer home fiber to clients. This involves installation of fiber optic cables directly to your home to be able to deliver internet communication signals.
We’ve already told you about how to get connected to CSquared’s Fiber to home internet, but there are some points you need to note before fully signing up for the deal.
Is there fiber in your area?
Before you request for the FTTH from CSquare, you need to check to see if there is fiber in your area so that you can order the product that suits you. If you realize that there is no fiber there, you can go ahead and express your interest to have it through their website.
CSquared provides infrastructure, not the internet
CSquared will only provide the infrastructure to deliver the internet, but not the internet. This means that you will have to sign up with a service provider to get the internet connection. Partner ISPs are Roke Telkom, Gilat Telecom, iWay Africa, and truIT.
CSquared needs permission to deploy fiber cables
CSquared needs to be granted permission by a property owner to deploy fiber optic cables in it.
The company also has a Home Fiber Ambassador campaign for potential clients that live in an apartment complex and want to champion the installation of home fiber with their property owners.
Here, you work with the company to sensitize your fellow neighbors and associations to ensure they can offer all the information and permissions needed to fast track fiber in your area.
