WSJ: Apple to reportedly make several iWatch designs with close to a dozen sensors

As iWacth rumors get heated up, we are getting to hear a lot of information leaking from all sorts of sources,  according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal, Apple’s upcoming smartwatch to be released in November will come in multiple designs and is said have close to a dozen sensors about 10 of them. As expected some sensors will be dedicated to tracking users’ health and fitness.

According to another report from Reuters yesterday the smartwatch will have a 2.5-inch screen and a heart sensor, with mass production starting next month for a release as soon as October. Apple expects to ship 50 million units within a year of going on sale, and the WSJ think that by end of 2014 10 to 15 million shipments would have been made.

Apple’s current iPhones already come with several sensors stacked in and they include an  ambient light, a gyroscope,proximity, an accelerometer,  a magnetometer, and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. And it is anticipated that Apple’s wearable device will have all these senors and more.
