Toyota Uganda unveils the Fortuner and Hilux 2016

In the field of monster rides, Toyota is already making it big with the next generation of the beloved Fortuner. Toyota Uganda has today unveiled their monster flagship rides; the Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Hilux 2016 models at Namanve in a epic show off. At the unveiling, Toyota showcased  the Fortuner and Hilux 2016 monster rides and invited revellers for a test drive in the extremely comfortable rides.

The new Toyota Fortuner and Hilux 2016 are an all-new product that is new inside out. Right from the chassis and engines to the exterior and interior design. Our bad roads will have a new partner that easily sails over them and that partner is the Toyota Hilux. The launch of the rides also doubled as the official opening of the grand Toyota plant in Namanve that will be the home of the Japan based car plant in Uganda.

The Toyota Fortuner comes with a brand new 2.8-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine tuned to make 174 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and up to 331 foot-pounds of torque from 1,600 to 2,400 rpm. On the other hand the Toyota Hilux is enhanced with the ability to climb from 0-62mph in 13.2 seconds, Its environmental friendly, with CO2 emissions as low as 187g/km & runs both manual and automatic gears.
