I always see youth typing away on their smartphones while walking on the streets of Kamapla. Given the poor planning of our towns there are few lanes and also having none for bicycles, others for motorcycles, it’s a big risk to type on your smartphone while traversing the streets of Kampala for obvious reasons. But there’s a place in mainland China that takes care of this and have introduced a separate lane altogether: This is for phone addicts glued to their screens. According to a Chinese publication, in Foreigner Street in Chongqing city one of the five major cities in the country the cellphone lane above was spotted.
For everyone’s safety, the new sidewalk was most likely painted, and the theory behind this that, if there’s distracted driving, there’s also distracted walking, Please check out the demo video below for proof of why such lanes are necessary.
