Yes, I said it bite me or sue me if you can. After reading about these allegedly leaked celebrity pictures that were released by someone over the weekend, I wonder how certain people get the cojones to do certain things. Taking nudes pictures and storing them onto the cloud, really? Who does that? I guess several morons around the world apparently including celebrities. I tell you, if you saw these pictures of Jenifer Laurence in the nude your hairs will stand up or even get goose bumps. Am sure you, as a reader, are familiar with the despicable and lecherous tendencies of the people on the internet by now. It’s no surprise that the online masses have reached such length. One thing is for sure, the internet is just a series of tubes, connecting us to ridiculous people around the world. But at what cost has this come?
So now can we blame “the internet” for the leaking of Actress Jenifer Laurence’s nude pictures or blame for her sheer stupidity for the decision she made to store them online? Up to now it’s still not clear how the private photos were acquired, and it’s highly likely people’s accounts were hacked and this wouldn’t be the first time. The last time this happened, a man named Christopher Chaney illegally accessed over 50 email accounts to steal nude photos and was later rewarded a decade of incarceration. It’s now time to look for the latest culprit and 4chan thinks it has already identified the guy who did this hack. Can we blame Apple’s iCloud or its users who have weak passwords despite Apple’s strong password recommendation system? Apple has however clearly come out to deny these claims. What is clear is that one person has no right snooping into other people’s private business whether on-line or in real life. Such kind of heinous intrusion is inexcusable. I look at such hackers as the detritus of human society for whom the internet provides a warm blanket, I think it’s high time we removed the warm blanket.
WHO’S TO BLAME?
Can we also blame the bunch of anonymous guys on the internet who copied these pictures them and posted them all over social media like no man’s business? Trust me, if you ever be a victim once in your life and a scandalous article or post is made about you on the internet you will be reminded about this misdemeanour forever. Imagine on reddit there was a dedicated sub-reedit group of horny men who were sharing and drooling and re-sharing and re-drooling over the leaked Jennifer’s leaked pictures. They even reached an extent of posting such warning to scare off those who would deny them their “right”. It read:
If the stupidity of these guys has not sunk into you, consider this: these people want to protect someone who actually hacked, stole and exposed the private nude photos of women since they figure that their actions are roughly equivalent to someone who leaks state secrets like illegal mass spying by NSA that is currently an international issue. And it’s not just people on Reddit who share this perspective. There is also a section of a few who think the leaking of these photos is nothing to worry about and it’s not a big deal. But all we know for sure is one day the perpetrator of this crime will be nabbed, and he or she will be reviled by the decent and heroized by jerks, and then disappear when he is taken to jail. Thereafter we shall wait for other hackers to do a similar thing and the cycle will continue. Indeed the internet is full of ridiculous people around the world.
