Sony to sell off it’s PC business

Sony has announced plans to sell off its VAIO computer division to another Japanese investment fund. The amount of money that has been given to Sony is currently unknown, but all we know is that Sony will “stop planning, design and development of PC products.”

The VAIO (Video Audio Integrated Operation and Visual Audio Intelligent Organizer) brand was introduced in 1996 and Sony has expanded it through the years with several innovative designs with products like the VAIO Pro Ultrabook and VAIO Tap hybrid.
