Microsoft publishes Office 2016 preview for Apple’s Mac

Not long ago, Microsoft made the Office 2016 preview available for Windows and Microsoft today publishes Office 2016 preview for Apple’s Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. The final version of Office 2016 for Mac isn’t ready just yet, but this will give Mac users get an early look at the company’s vision for Office on a Mac.

Microsoft intends to make Office 2016 its cash cow and it’s not leaving any stone unturned. It’s clear Microsoft is doubling down on its Office suit everywhere, like bringing it to the iPad, extending it to Dropbox, and even acquiring impressive apps like Acompli to power Office on iOS and Android.

The company wants to improve its products with its users and has published preview versions for people to take a look at, test, and send feedback about just like it’s doing with Windows 10 Technical preview. The preview brings several Office features like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, as well as Outlook. The apps will obviously get many more updates in the coming months, and if you download the preview now you’ll get all of those as they become available.
