And according to the latest rumor by leakschina twitter page the recently announced successor to the HTC Butterfly known as the HTC Butterfly S might be released with twin SIM card slots. Most of the dual SIM phones used this side of the Sahara are Chinese branded knockoffs and if such a rumor pans out to be true we shall see a growing entry of dual SIM high end phones especially from trusted OEMs like HTC. The dual SIM HTC Butterfly S is said to have the same specs as the none dual SIM version including :
- A 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
- A Snapdragon 600 chipset with a 1.9GHz quad-core Krait 300 processor along
- 2 GB of RAM
- An UltraPixel camera as on the HTC One.
In terms of dimensions the dual SIM HTC Butterfly S reportedly measures 144.5 x 70.5 x 10.9mm and weighs about 159 grams. The smartphone will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but regrettably, there is no word on the launch date and the global availability of the device.
