Google one step closer to a world of Intelligent Robots

As you might already know, Google has set its eyes onto the world of Artificial Intelligence and robotics with such determination as to recently have bought Boston Dynamics, a robotics engineering company towards the end of last year.

In recent developments, Google has acquired Artificial Intelligence firm, DeepMind for $400 Million to further aid their ambition. It is reported that the Google CEO Larry Page took charge of the deal himself. The AI company specializes in cutting edge algorithms and machine learning as well as system neuroscience from which they have produced their first commercial applications in games, simulations and e-commerce.

With this new step to their goal of a new generation of robots, you have to wonder if Google will one day lead the world to a time when movies like Eagle Eye and I, Robot a bunch of classic sitcoms.
