According to the Financial Times reports, Facebook is working on some sort of social network for professionals to connect and collaborate on work-related documents. Think of it as Facebook’s response to LinkedIn. Facebook at Work will enable people use their existing personal profiles and will look similar to its existing social network. Talk about mixing work with pleasure, it will also enable you chat with colleagues, build professional networks and share documents, people said to be working on.
The BBC reports that the product, said is to be in use internally at Facebook already, and could be a viable competitor to existing services such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office and LinkedIn. Currently LinkedIn has over 332 million users and Facebook want to tap into that market to boost up its already sxisting 1.35 billion monthly active users.
