Yesterday, Acer introduced several new smartphones, but what caught our attention is the lower-end smartphone that falls into the budget range, the Liquid Z200. All we know they will be cheap and affordable but no word on exact prices were communicated. Unlike most other budget phones, this phone will come with modest specs and the latest version of Android.
The upcoming Z200 offers a 4-inch display with a WVGA resolution, and will be available in five colors (featured above). You will have interchangeable flip covers that will allow users to turn on their phone with a flip. Acer has introduced a new cool feature in the Z200 its the Acer Quick Mode, which is software that allows the phone to be set to one of four integrated profiles: Basic Mode for children, Easy Senior Mode designed for use by the elderly who may struggle to understand a smartphone, Classic Mode for someone new to smartphones, and Keypad Mode for those who use their phone primarily for calls.
On top of that other features that will come in this phone include, DTS Studio Sound and a 2-megapixel camera — though not explicitly stated, it seems this is the only/rear camera, sorry for those who are addicted to selfies so it will make this phone an extremely basic shooter with a few software options: panorama mode, continuous shot, and auto-smile. The phone will be available in Q3 2014.
