A Walk Among the Tombstones review

A Walk Among the Tombstones

Remember that guy who had the guts to call the crooks that had kidnapped his daughter and wife and goes ahead to boldly tell them he’s given them strictly 48hrs to release his family and promises to slit their throats open if they fail to heed his demands? If your minds can clearly copyright you’ll agree with me that it’s Taken am talking about and the guy in the picture is none other than Liam Neeson. Scott Frank the Director knowing how action films with strong and awesome characters woo revelers brought back Liam Neeson on the big screens in this epic Action-packed film yet again. I don’t know for you but for me for an action movie to kind of nail it should at least have a character that kicks some badass real well and trust me Liam Neeson starring as Matt Scudder is back to his ways and particularly what he does best and that’s tormenting his aggressors. In yet another chapter of the latest trend in Hollywood,

A Walk among the Tombstones directed and written by Scott Frank too is based on Lawrence Block’s bestselling series of mystery novels.
In the movie Liam Neeson (Matt Scudder) is an ex-detective with the NYPD who is a pretty messed up alcoholic haunted by regrets in his former job and he surely has a lot to make up for. As dirty luck has it, a series of kidnappings targeting the city’s worst drug criminals escalates to grisly murder and Matt Scudder reluctantly agrees to help the circuit’s ruthless leader hunt down the culprits who kidnapped & brutally murdered his wife and bring them to bloody justice.

Matt is left with no option but to execute his duties as an unlicensed private detective operating just outside the law but more interestingly he sees what the police doesn’t see and tread where they fear most to, making him the perfect man for the job. He however learns that the culprits responsible haven’t done this for the first time but have relentlessly committed the same felony and they won’t stop for anything. He definitely sets out to track the criminals through the backstreets of New York before this escalates even wider.

Being the nonsense character we know, he stops at nothing to bring the hooliganism to a pre-mature end. So you know September just brought an epic Action/Drama/Adventure packed movie and you should mark your calendar right as ‘A walk among the Tombstones’ will be released on 19th September 2014 across theaters & Cinemas worldwide.  Why you’ll possibly love this one is because Liam Neeson perfectly does what we love him for, nonsense but awesome and strong character when it comes to handling issues concerning Life or Death and Revenge.

“he stops at nothing to bring the hooliganism to a pre-mature end”

But I must warn about the strong violence involved in the movie, a lot of disturbing images too are entangled in this epic showdown, inappropriate language at some point will be used and brief nudity which might not be of good view to minors below the age of 18. So as you wait for this movie’s official release to cinemas, just keep your hopes high because you’ll fall in love with it.
